We give thanks to God for providing all things necessary for the creation of our third CD. We are grateful to Him for the blessings of health, materials, and finances that have allowed us to continue to serve Him through our music ministry. We appreciate the new ideas, words, and melodies He has supplied us with, as well as the anointed songwriters he has placed in our path along the way. That's not to say there haven't been challenges; we just prefer not to dwell on them. Instead, we choose to focus on the kindness of the Lord, who is the source of all good gifts.
Computer hardware and software upgrades allowed us to improve the sound of our background tracks. It's still amazing to us what can be accomplished with the computer. For instance, the piano part in Heaven's Growin' Sweeter was entered into the computer with a MIDI keyboard, but it was really perfected using a mouse. I guess if you can hear it in your head, there's probably a way to get the computer to play it that way if you keep at it long enough.
There are five new songs on this CD, a collection of music that has more of a Southern Gospel feel to it in comparison to our other recordings.
It is an honor and a privilege to once again include two songs written by our good friend and gifted songwriter from Clermont, FL, Ray Guzzardo. Ray's contributions are titled "My Prince of Peace"and "Does Anyone Know a Doctor?"
We'd like to introduce a new songwriter, Joyce Groom, from Kirksville, MO. We met Joyce in Moore Haven, FL during our winter travels."Living In the Light" and "Heaven's Growing Sweeter" are both songs we're sure you'll enjoy.
We were thrilled to participate in the Hallelujah Hoedown in Clewiston, FL, where we met Gospel musicians and singers from around the country. This experience inspired us to write "Sing Hallelujah To the Lord."
We thank our daughter, Kathy Behnke for the CD design.
